The unique pen has been made in honour of Thomas Mann, one of the most famous writers of the 20th century, whose masterpiece "Buddenbrooks" has brought him immortality. The platinum-plated inlays in the rich black lacquer of this writing instrument are inspired by the age of artistic creativity in which Thomas Mann lived: the Art Deco era. The interplay of colours and materials symbolises the different relationships between the characters in "Buddenbrooks". The rollerball pen has a barrel of precious black lacquer with multilayered inlays. The platinum-plated clip is set with onyx-coloured zircon and the cap bears a replica of Thomas Mann's signature and an ivory-coloured Montblanc emblem. This pen takes the standard Montblanc rollerball pen refill (included).
